Italian salad with mozzarella and tomatoes.
1 tsp extra-virgin olive oil
1 tsp good-quality balsamic vinegar
½ ball Italian buffalo mozzarella
1 beef (beefsteak) tomato
6 fresh basil leaves
Mix the olive oil, balsamic vinegar and salt and pepper to taste together and set aside.
Cut the mozzarella and the tomato into thin slices
Put the salad ingredients in layers – tomato, mozzarella and basil and lastly drizzle the dressing along the central line of the salad.
